Water heaters from US to Canada

I'm wondering if any Canadians have ordered a water heater from the US recently. Was there duty charged? If I remember correctly, items that don't compete with Canadian manufacturers and are made in the US aren't charged duty. I'm just looking for people with first hand experience before I order. Thanks in advance!

Interested also in knowing... cause I might order a ZipDee awning and an axle for my 1977 Minuet... from Inland RV Center.

Just to update. No duty was charged on my water heater, only GST and PST.
