Water Heater Quit again

My water heater worked for several days and now it has quit again. I have no voltage to any of the controls. I have 13.5 v at all the fuses in the dcv panel. The switch would light up for an instant but now no light at all. I am wondering if the switch is bad. I took it loose from the wall and didn't know how to test it. ( I didn't take the wires off )

I talked to 2 rv parts stores and they both wanted the model #. I can't find a model #. It is in my 83 MH and is an Atwood with the electronic ignition

Any ideas would be great. Thanks

Kay

The model number should be on a tag glued to the inside of the ware heater, inside the outer cover (where the burner is).
As far as the problem, you may have a bad board, but it would be a good idea to check it out before jumping the gun, getting one, and finding out you have a bad ground somwhere.

Tag is gone on outside I may have a bad ground but so far I can't find it. The circuit board is new . I know new can fail. I don't know how to check any further.

My Atwood with DSI would only ignite intermittently. I couldn't isolate the problem myself, but after calling Mark's RV mail order and explaining the problem, he said it was the board. I purchased a Dinosaur Electronics aftermarket board that had a better warranty and was significantly less $$ than the OEM. It's been working great. Again, not sure what is wrong with your heater, and I wouldn't suggest throwing $$ at the board unless you're fairly confident that's where the problem is.
