Water heater problem

On the road and just lost our hot water. Doesn't work on shore or gas. Used to get a brief light on switch. Now nothing check fuses all look good any ideas?

Search via google "airforums" "water heater" "no heat".

There's a list of things to run thru. Power and or gas is first.

Get brand, size, year, and model number.

Mines so old (1989) that some of the info won't apply.

Plenty of info online via this or other forums.

Brief light is normal so you have another issue. Possibly electrical. Check fuses? Previous advice to Google should move you toward resolution. If you heat a bit of water on the cooktop you could take a "spit-bath".

-- check all electrical connections in heater compartment for corrosion etc.
[remove/clean/sand/dilectric grease/etc]
-- other gas appl. OK? -- cooktop/oven/fridge on gas/low pressure port outside
-- battery voltage OK? -- please provide voltage number
-- can you get water heater to fire again maybe? -- describe events/time before shutdown
-- spider nests in the flue pipe?
