Water heater leak

Hi everyone,

This is my first post since I got the Sovereign almost two weeks ago. I replaced all the copper piping with pex because it leaked badly. In the process I also replaced the thermostat on the water heater because someone had mangled the valve on it. At the time I didn't think to actually check the heater to be sure it wouldn't leak.

It does - seemingly a pinhole leak. When the pump has pressurised the system there are drips down the frame towards the bumper. We took it camping last week and apart from the leak, heated water fine.

The model of the tank is a G10-B. I'm wondering if anyone has replaced the inner tank of theirs rather than the entire unit. The thermostat/gas valve is brand new so if I can just replace the tank then I would prefer to do that.

Problem is that the G10-B inner tank is no longer available. Would a G10-2 tank work?

Thanks!
