Water heater

Water from my water heater is kind of milky and frothy with a funny smell. Do I need to replace the unit? Or is there some kind of easy fix?

Anyone here will tell you I'm no expert at this :-) but it sounds to me like you probably have some RV antifreeze in the water heater. If you're connected to city water, don't turn on the water heater (or let it cool down if you have) and just run your water from the hot side of the faucet til it runs clear. You may have to dump your gray tank if you have to run it a long time. Good luck!
