I did my PT RV-500 on my then new '06' 19CCD. I had to remove about an inch and a half from the top skins, and it fit right in.

It took longer to get up the courage to cut the inner/outer skins than it took to install the entire unit.

It worked flawlessly for 6 years, when I sold the trailer.

Using Tankless water heater, possibly ventless type
I installed a 7 GPM residential propane unit. It works well, but it would be a tough install as a retrofit.

The cost was over 100 less than the Girard.
