Hi, I have a 1979 airstream with the extra drinking water spiket in the kitchen sink. It looks like it needs a filter to go under the sink unless I want water spraying all over the place when I pressurize the system. Where do you buy such a part?
They sell them at Airstream dealers or most other RV stores but they are more expensive that replacing the head with a conventional filter holder and buying conventional filters.

I ordered my Quick Release one from Camping World. Check this link out..
The everpure filter is a neat filter, its expensive to replace but it does alot. Take the time to read all the things it filters out of the water and you won't leave home without it. They will last at least a season. All of my potable water comes out of that faucet.

I do not know what the filter difference is but in my old Tradewind we had the large blue filter and now we have the Ever-pure in the motor home. I much preferred the taste of the water from the blue filter and thought it did a better job with the heavy iron water we find in so many campgrounds. Plus the filter was about half the cost of the Ever-pure.
I would imagine in your '79 you have the old style blue filter and Andre gave you the correct link for it. http://www.rvsupplywarehouse.com/pro...il.cfm/pid/614
