Recommendations for modern replacement water heaters / filters / pumps??

Hey Airstreamers!

I'm in the process of renovating a '69 Tradewind and planning to redo all the plumbing w pex. I wanted to pick your brains on water heaters and pumps that you use and love. Are there some relatively inexpensive brands/models that are good? I plan to be living in my trailer full time, so I'll be hooked up to city water. Would also love some recommendations for a filter options for the potable water, since this New Orleans water is questionable.

Also a side note: Does anyone know where to find an owners manual for this model?? A mouse family made a nest out of half of mine..

I use a whole house residential type filter. These are readily available at a hardware store. I have mine outside my trailer. Some people mount them inside, but have to deal with water on the floor when changing the filter cartridge.
