pump wiring

this may be a dumb question. But here we go. the new pump (Shur Flow) came with a red and black wire. The wiring in the wall is black and white. My question is which goes to which? I Assume Red to black/ Black to White?

12VDC "normal" is BLack = ground, red = hot

RV wiring: White = Ground, Black = hot just like a house.
So Red to black and Black to white would make sense.

THe worst that could happen is it run run backwards and try to fill the tank.
Just don't let it run too long dry or she will burn out.
