Need spring load clips for water heater door 68 GT. Andy ??

Where can I buy the clips that hold on the water heater door on a 68 Globe Trotter?

Jim. Those are "DZUS" fatseners. Most aircraft shops have them. We do not, since most owners have replaced the vintage water heaters by now. Andy

Thanks Andy, Bowen didn’t even know the correct name. I rebuilt my original heater after I performed a hydro test on the tank. BTW Bowen had a beautiful constructed vessel in the unit. The rebuild was to keep the original look as you don’t save enough to make it worth while. I would not advise the rebuild of a unit as old as mine unless you have a lot of experience with pressure vessels and controls as it can come back and bite you in the butt.

When Andy said DZUS, the light went on. My MGA has two ¼ turn DZUS fasteners which hold on the battery cover behind the seats. I looked at the DZUS page and didn't see the exact fastener I have, may be out of production. I did see what appears to be a replacement latch handle for the rear compartment cover. Looks like an exact replacement.
