Need regulator for Bowen G-110T hot water heater

1962 Overlander has old hot water heater by Bowen. Regulator just went out.
Model G-110T. A company called Atwood took over Bowen and manufactured everything in reverse. Hence, Atwood parts do not fit the Bowen appliances.

Can anyone help?

Reglators are available.

However a 46 year old water heater is far more than just on it's last legs.

Two things.

Before you order a regulator, take the old one out. You may find that you break the tank in doing so, in which case, you will need a new water heater.

Should you manage to safely remove the regulator, there are two sizes available. Which size do you have?

If you order a regulator, you will own it, since they are not returnable. Then if you find that you need a new water heater, you will be stuck with a regulator that you cannot use.

Thanks for the posts.

We are using original everything and want to keep it that way. It's just the regulator and the burner, the rest works just fine. Am hoping someone will have spare parts from their own upgrades, etc. OR hoping to find a salvage yard with this particular model.

Save ypurself some time.

Before you look any further, remove the old regulator first.

You most likely will find that it is seized and in order to get it out, you will twist the tank fitting off. Same thing for a used one.

A 40 year old water heater is usually in a museam.

Keeping the trailer original, is impossible.

We have replacements, BUT, they are not returnable when you find out that you must replace the water heater.

Turned out the regulator at the front needed cleaning. Regulator in hot water heater now working fine after cleaning. But would like to replace the burner in the hot water heater.
