Low hot water pressure???

1996, 25ft Safari. For some unknown reason, we have very low hot water pressure. The cold water pressure is fine though. The hot water pressure is less than half of what the cold pressure is, and this only started this year, last season it was fine. I double checked the hot water tank bypass valve, and all appeared right. Any suggestions???

Sometimes a piece of corrosion from the hot water tank or one of the valves comes loose and jams the line, restricting the flow. sometimes backflushing with a garden hose from one of the faucets will blow it back into the tank.

In addition to Excella's suggestions, you might have a defective check valve, which is usually located on the water heater's hot water output fitting. I would remove the check valve, re-connect the PEX and try the hot water. If your pressure is normal, or noticeably better, then it is the check valve and it should be replaced.
