Junker Model 125 / 5A

I just scored some parts out of a homemade old Dometic 110 / Gas fridge and a nice Porcelain MAgic Chef stove. I also scored what appears to be, a Junker On Demand Gas Hot water heater. I'm posting a picture. Anyone ever seen one of these? Looks cool as it hangs on the wall!

Takes me back...!

Yep !

Saw the name, then the photo. Sure enough! Exactly the same as the on demand water heater that me aunt had in her house near 40 years ago.

That thing scare the willies out of me. Had to light it with a match ( while you are stinding there in the altogether!) and wait for it it heat, then shower! SMILE when you say that!

Now that I am older I find them to be rather elegent - as well as well made! Wouldn't use one for the life of me, but for you I am sure its fine!

BTW, was at my aunts house ( northern germany) recently and the unit had been removed. I DID look for it! Still had the box of wooden matches sitting there though! For what I wonder?

Anyway, thanks for the trip back down that foggy memory lane!
