Hot water tank supply lines valve
What is the purpose of the diverter valve at my hot water tank supply lines?

To close off the water heater from getting any anti freeze into it when one winterizes their trailer. One simply closes this valve and drains the water heater and then winterizes the remainder of the trailer water system.
