Faulty pressure relief valve

We have a 97 Bambi with a model G6A-8E Atwood electric ignition water heater. After about 10 minutes of heating water discharges from the pressure relief valve. Cannot find a high temp limit switch so do I just change the pressure valve?

Does it just drip, or blow off a lot of pressure? They are prone to getting deposits on the seal seat and dripping a bit, especially under pressure when hot. If it's just leaking a little, stand back to the side and pop it open and closed a few times. Works most of the time to clean the seat off.

This is probably because of the expansion of the heating water in the system releasing pressure through the valve. The system is designed to have an "air bubble" in the top of the water heater to take this expansion, the the air can be lost.
