Everpure EN-1 Water Filter

Howdy folks!

Working my way through the systems of a 1973 AS Int'l checking to see what systems work and which ones need help before this summer's trips!

We inherited the AS in pretty much original condition. It still has the Everpure EN-1 water filtration system and I am wondering what to do with it.

Can I find new cartridges for it? Is there an easy retrofit to another water filter system? Or, do I remove the system altogether.

See if Camping World has replacements. Sort of the Walmart of our world. If they do, then keep the system. If not, consider replacing with something easily serviced.

You can still get the cartridge. My trailer uses them.

I can't seem to find the exact replacement. Can you steer me in the right direction? I would rather keep the system than replace it.

I have a ambassador of the same era. I could not find the replacement filter Anywhere! I looked all over the web and contacted ever pure. Finally, at the advise of other people on this forum, I just removed it. I will use an outside water filter at the water inlet if needed. Hope that helps.
