Is DSI 12v or 120v?

Have chosen Atwood 6 gallon with DSI to replace water heater in 1969 Globetrotter. Do I need to run 12 volt or 120 volt wire to the new water heater to provide the "spark"?

Rookie struggles on!!!

It should be 12 volts. Every one I have seen has had 12 volts dc.

Hi, Dick,

The heater needs 12 VDC to operate the ignitor. You'll need to decide where to mount the switch in the bathroom, too. I used a coathanger to fish it up into a plastic cabinet and used the template to cut an opening for the switch. I'm reasonably pleased with the way it came out.
