city water ? from newbie

I have the pleasure of owning a new-2-me...1965 airstream tradwinds. It is my first camper so I am sure I am overlooking something.

I can get water to pump from the fresh water tank but get no water at faucet/shower when hooked up to city water. Previous owner acknowledged they never used city water...no leaks but the only way I have water is to turn the pump on.
thanks

Hi and welcome to the forums!
It is possible that you have a valve off. It may also be a corroded shut check valve or watrer pressure regulator. Post a pic of your city water connection and associated plumbing for a better answer. Good luck!
