circulating pump '62 safari

It's the original. I dont think its a water pump I think its a circulating pump. Used to work now it just gave out. When the water pressure gets low I used to flip the switch and it would create circulating pressure but no more. There is current going to it. Sound like its dead?
Thanks

Since Airstreams in 1962 never had water pumps of any kind, I'd say it's an aftermarket addition. Through 1963, they had an air pressurized system with an air pump.

Yep...our 63 Safari had the air pressurized system, when the pump failed I replaced it with small 12v tire compressor and used the pressure limit switch from the original pump. 18 Seasons no problems, actually 'kind'a liked the way it worked, the Classic's water pump failed first time out.
