Bowen gas line fitting??

Looks to be original bowen heater & unitrol valve for 1965 safari. Having trouble figuring out type of fitting used on the gas line input into the the unitrol valve. I misplaced line during floor repair. It appears a male threaded fiitting would go over 3/8 line then flare the line with the flare sealing directly against bulb built into the unitrol. I cannot find a male threaded fitting that would work. Any insight is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Airstream, in my experience, always used commonly available fittings in that era. If the parts you think you need are not available at Home Depot or equivalent, then it sounds like a previous owner has modified the setup.

Please post a picture of the fitting.

First, WELCOME!

You might trying a few differentsizes of flair nuts to see which thread matches the bulb on your Bowen. It's all downhill after you find the correct size flair nut. Oh, BTW............Go for the 'forged' type of flair nut and you'll never break one at the seam....cause there isn't one!!!!.

Many thanks. It was the inverted flare nut that threw me a curve. I guess it is not such a common item these days, unless you are working on brake lines.
