Cool Atwood water tank-lighting problems!

Before I start adjusting and cleaning, need advice from those who know. I can light the pilot and main burner, but after 1 to 3 minutes I hear a click and burner and pilot are out. I have to wait several minutes to relight the pilot and everything repeats again--boy it's a slow way to heat up the water! Advice--Thermocouple? what to clean? Thanks, Don

It is either the thermocouple or the valve. Check the connection between the thermocouple and the valve. Sometimes the Thermocouple can get loose and the valve won't stay open. You might also consider a new water heater.
