Artic Pros Water Heater Bypass

Hi, I just typed this entire message in, and while I was waiting for my phone to upload the pics my Airforum timed out and it all vaporized. How convenient. So I'll be brief, no pics.

1987 Sovereign, 25'. My water heater has an "Arctic Pros" bypass unit. Rectangular box, about 3" by 2" with a single 90 degree valve handle. Two positions - Bypass and Normal Flow. I'm pretty sure it is a cartridge valve inside that will isolate the inlet to the water heater from the water system and isolate the outlet of the water heater from the system, and bypass the inlet to the outlet to allow those that winterize by adding antifreeze to drain the water heater separately and not add as much anti-freeze. I blow my entire system out every winter, including the pump, water heater, all fixtures, etc. I never bypass my water heater. Anyway, a leak developed on my Arctic Pros unit. It's dripping from the box itself, not any of the threaded connections to/from the box. I cannot find a replacement or any info about this unit anywhere, so I'm thinking of just making up a 3-valve manifold. Anyone else deal with one of these? Thanks.

So its pretty obvious no one has ever had/seen/replaced one of these units before. Anyway, someone, somewhere, somehow may have this or a similar problem. So this is how I fixed it.

The threaded plastic union fitting screwed into a brass check valve (red circled below) had a rotted out internal seal. I replaced it with a properly sized o-ring and it should hold for another several years.

Leak check sat following repairs. Ready for the eclipse rally in a few weeks!
