Aquajet water pump replacement

I need to replace my waterpump on my 2003 34' trailer. I would appreciate any tips on "how-to" accomplish this proceedure. I bought the Aquajet on E-bay (epensive). Also, can the old pump be rebuilt?
Thanks,

Sterellie

I am no expert but..........

To avoid a problem that a not so talented mandolin player had, I would suggest draining the water out of the fresh tank and the pipes. Make sure power to pump stays off untill all lines are fitted. Install a filter between the fresh tank and the pump. Neatly apply teflon tape on fittings ( you don't want little pieces of teflon clogging things up ). Don't over tighten plastic fittings ( just tight enough to prevent leaks ) Try to insulate hoses from vibrating against stuff so as to keep noise down. I insulated my lines with foam pipe insulation. Other than that it's just connecting power and ground, and input and output lines. I hope someone jumps in here because I am curious as to what if anything people have done to mount the pump so as to keep vibration down. Mine is mounted with rubber grommets. It's louder than I had hoped for.
