1969 Overlander Int'l water question - filter on outside water hook up?
Hi there,
I am hooking up my Airstream to the water line at the house, since i won't be towing it. There is a place at the hook up that's threaded, and it looks like there is supposed to be a filter on it? I know that the filter is usually under the sink, but there's no filter there. Any idea what might be going on, or where I could get a filter to hook the water line to?
Welcome to the forums. Sorry I can't answer your question about water filters but we do have a 27' 1969 Overlander. Would love to see pictures of your rig.....take care, pj

We have a 68 Overlander and the water hook up is not big enough for a hose not sure how to hook the water up. We are working on so many things, any info appreciated.
You can buy in-line water filters of various kinds and qualities at a camping good store like Camping World or Wal-Mart's camping section. They are just connected to your in bound hose between the water source and the AS. We use a simple in-line filter and replace it about once a year...if you're using it full time this type may have to be replaced more frequently. You can also get filters with changeable or replaceable filters in them.
