What's this for?

Next to the drain on the black tank is an inlet with some sort of filler/sensor with wires and clear type hose running from the front of the trailer. This is on a 73 sovereign, and after pulling it out to repair the back end and dropping the tank this looks like some kind of sensor/flushing system. I have completely redone the water system short of droping the water tank and can find no lines for this. What is this strange thing stuck into my black tank?

I have photos of everything else but not the tank, if you look at the tank from the back of the trailer the drain is at the right and has the three wires for the system guage. just to the right of that is another 1 inch hole. that hole has a plug that has a tube sticking trough it with a screen stainer and some kind of sensor that has two wires coming from the tube.
there is a hose that runs from that to the front of the trailer.

That was part of the "Thermasan" system.

That was the system that fed the contents of the black water tank, to the tow vehicle, to be burned up by the hot exhaust from the engine, after the tow vehicle reached a certain speed.

Unfortunately, sometimes it pumped the waste into the exhaust while the engine was at idle. That in turn, sort of killed the engine, AND, dumped the stuff on the street.

Great idea, BUT..........didn't work very well. But when it did work, "WOW" the black water tank was being emptied while you towed the trailer, by burning the contents.
