Valterra or Thedford?

Hey guys

The Black water valve on my 84 International was not sealing properly so I tore it apart today and the only name I can find on the valve is Anonda. It bolts on, is black in color and is about a half in thick...has anyone got an idea what make this is?

I appreciate your help

Dan

if it's black I believe it is a valterra, Most Thedford are white in color.

Thanks Jason......I had checked out a couple of different suppliers and none of them looked like what I have. We'll give it shot and see what happens.

Anonda is the brand.

Dump valves are like many sears products, good, better and best.

Thetford is at the head of the "best" list.

Mine's a Valtera and it's quite legibly molded into the valve. Anonda is (was?) another maker of valves. See, here: RV Plumbing - Valterra Valve Body

Sounds as if some parts are interchangeable ... but maybe not all.
