Yeah, repair on the threads would be tough.

Might be fiberglass.

Stopped at the office for a bit.

The original tank is no longer available.

However, fiberglass replacements are.

My black tank had two cracks in the flange and dump valve boss was cracked. Considering the time and effort required to remove it and only wanting to do it once, I bought a new fiberglass tank from Andy. Excellent quality.
