Hi,

My wife and I are new to Airstreams and just purchased a 1998 Safari. I feel like this is a dumb question, but the person we bought it from didn't provide much in the way of instructions and, although he did show us where the drains are for the wastewater tanks, he didn't show us how the process of dumping them is done. Any advice we could get would be greatly appreciated. Also, we live in Sonoma County (California). Are there any Airstream folks in our area who would be willing to show us how to do this?

Welcome!

Dumping is dumping- in an Airstream or any other trailer. If the link above isn't enough, ask anyone with trailer.

Enjoy your Safari!

Hi timrad2009, and welcome to airforum.com!

I would strongly suggest that you get yourself the Owner's Manual for your year of trailer, it has a wealth of info in it, and most dealers usually have old ones for sale. If not, I believe that they are available through Airstream, check out their website.

Hang in there, the veil of mystery will lift very soon.
