TankTechs RX

I saw this company on YouTube called TankTechs RX promoting their sewage treatment product.

I was wondering if anyone has used their products and would be willing to give their feedback. It looks interesting.

I presently use Pure Power Blue.

So I bought the product on Amazon and just used it on a freshly rinsed black tank. You only use .5 oz. I'll report again in a few weeks..

So I finally drained my black tank for the first time since using the new additive; about six weeks. Now because I use a drain master sewer hose, there's a clear window for me to see the "stuff"; but luckily or not luckily I used a dump station where I could really see the stuff come out of the hose.
I didn't see any solids at all, nothing. It seems everything was liquified. I would imagine that's a good thing!
As well, there was never any smell in the bathroom, but to be honest, I was never in any hot weather. So I'll reserve final judgement next year for the hot weather test.

It's too bad the company's YouTube videos are childish and amateurish, because they don't instil confidence. I think they should hire a real marketing company.

Just my two cents
Ron

I watched the videos and am impressed with the product. But Rawn you are right. The videos need to be a tad more professional.

Looks like it's cheaper buying direct from Tank Techs than from Amazon.

Although I haven't purchased the product, I'm impressed with the science behind it. Looks like this could really work. There's a $15 bottle available on their website (not sure how much shipping costs). But it might be worth it just to give it a try.

They must have changed their web price since my Amazon purchase. At the time they were the same.
When you think that you only need half an ounce per use; the price seems very reasonable.

Do you know if there's any lubrication benefit for the valves and seals?

I don't remember reading anything about that. I think you can by a product just for valve lubrication. Both Thetford and Camco make such a product.

I started using TankTechsRX at the beginning of the 2015 season. It works great and is now part of the "tool box."

I'm also using the Camco Valve Lube (Coco Oil) in conjunction and the valves are working smoothly.
