Tank flush question

Do the aftermarket tank flush products work as well as the factory tank flush?

Our 28' International CCD does not have one even though the paperwork says it did.

The factory and dealer have offered to put one in, but it sounds like a lot of work for them. I wouldn't be opposed to an aftermarket if it worked as well.

Thanks,

Dennis

The "spray wands" are susposed to be good, but I have to admit that I am lazy and like the built in ones that are on our unit. I have heard of some that use rid-x for home septic tanks and place a little in their tanks with 5 gallons or so of water for the trip home. The "sloshing action breaks up solids along with the rid-x. Either dump when you get home or the next time you go out. All of the solids should be decomposed by then. I have never had a problem but I make certain that the tank is almost full before dumping, even if I have to add system water to the tank to fill it/
