Angry size of gray water tank

I have a 66 ambassador and took it out for a test run.....oh well...I have a leak in my gray tank....and I really don't know the gallon size of the tank but it seems awfully small...does anyone know and can you increase the size or replace with a bigger one?
My five year old took a bath and there wasn't enough room in the tank to hold the bathwater.

I don't know how to break it to you, so I'll just come right out and say it. Your 66's gray water tank is so small, you could take the whole trailer apart and not find it.

In other words you do not have a gray water tank.

In 1966 the issue of draining gray water on the ground was not considered taboo as it is today. the grey water plumbing joins the outbound pipe between the dump valve and the bayonet fitting for a hose or cap. You are fine as long as you have a blue buddy or a sewer connection.

Adding one can be done, but frame integrity and the engineering of the added tank must be taken into acount. It is usally simpler to just get a blue buddy and tuck it under the trailer.

Yup! Brett is right. Sounds like you just filled the pipes. They started offering them as an option around 1973. I think they were small at that.

We use a 22 gallon "Blue Boy" and find it to be no problem. The black tank is under 20 gallons so it all can fit in the blue tank with no problem.

There are situations when it is allowable to let grey water drain onto the ground, if it is done descretely. At some AS rallys they allow it, if you use a garden hose adaptor with a short length of garden hose run under the trailer.

/flame on!

A 22 gallon blue boy should be plenty of capacity. My International has a 21-gallon gray and a 21-gallon black tank. My wife and I can go several days with no problem (and she is a water user!).

I have a 10-gallon blue boy for use at home to dump whatever has accumulated in the tanks on the last day of travel plus some rinse water for the black tank.
