Yes, just try to remember where it went when you try to use it for anything else.

Here is a picture of our Sewer Solution setup. I use the Y valve to be able to use the water powered macerator and the black tank flush without having to switch the water supply line back and forth (even with hose quick disconnects this is a pain.) I find that to get a really good black tank flush I need to alternate between the flush and macerator quite a few times as well as using the flush feature to put a few gallons of clean water into the black tank with the dump valve shut to get almost everything out of the tank. There is an "art" to getting a really good black tank flush and I suggest that you try it once and awhile when you have the time. It can take 1/2 an hour or so to do a complete dump and flush. I will only do this periodically at a full service campsite so as not to hold anyone one up on line behind me at the public dumping station. Most of the time, I just do the "standard" black tank dump followed by the grey.

Valterra now?
I had recommended this device, last weekend, to a couple of trailers in a CG and they told me that the link I gave them was gone. Sewer solution now links to the Valterra website. I suppose that is a good thing in terms of long term support.

I think that Sewer Solution sold out to Valterra a couple of years ago. The original SS company (Plan 9) had really good customer service. I got parts from them on several occasions. I hope Valterra does as well.

The Valterra site shows parts, some packaged as a kit.

A few months ago I needed the quick disconnect. Ordered it on their web site. Received it in less than a week.

Sewer Solution "Dry Run"
Defector on Monday on way out of Henderson beach state park - first time I ever dumped without the SS.
For efficiency - the "stinky slinky" wins hands down and will be a staple at dump stations for me I think.
But at full hookup sites - I like SS still better.
