You will need to buy a Thetford connector for your sewer hose. It will be white in color. The black or red connectors will not go onto a Thetford connector.

You can buy an adapter that will allow you to connect those other connectors to the Therford connector on your Airstream.

I have never seen a sewer hose come with a Thetford connector.

You need to get a sewer hose connector that is Thetford. Most of the hoses connectors that you find will be Valterra which are almost the same size. Camping World and other major RV supply stores carry Thetford fittings

Correct...Just don't expect it to stay white.

I never did understand the color choice, but it works.

sewer hose

I had the same problem and I got a tetford but with a 3" end so it could fit the hose.I'm considerering changing the whole connector to up grade it to todays standered. It sems to be only a hose connector in the bumper panel. This will eliminate buying expensive tedford parts. When putting the hose on I pulled out a portion of the wire in the hose and that allowed easer fitting of the hose.Hope this helps.

I had the same issues with my 75.

You need this part from Vintage Trailer Supply.

Thetford to Valterra Connector.

In case I wasn't clear above there is an adapter to go from Thetford to Valterra. It's cheap. It just snaps on like a regular connection. Soldiermedic is also talking about the same part. You don't have to change anything else, unless you want to.
