sewer hose

When i got my 76 argosy it did not have a dump hose. Went to K-Mart and bought one but when i tried to but it on it was about a 1/4" to big. Where can i get one that fits. Did the older moldels have bigger outlets then the newer RVs? Any help would be great.

John,

I am confused, the hose does not fit the connector which attaches to the trailer or the connector does not fit the connector on the trailer? Your Argosy probably has a Thetford fitting and not a Valterra (more common today), if connecting to the trailer is the problem, you need to go to a RV supply store and purchase a Thetford fitting for the hose.

Bill

I was fortunate, A hack saw and a comon size fitting solved the problem, along with gaining a couple of inches of clearance in the bargain. I have the before photo and will post in Minuet post when I have the after photo.

Why did they do this anyway?
It's one of those "little" things that can drive you nuts...
