To add to the confusion, my 2016 FC manual also refers to them as the main holding tank (black) and the auxiliary holding tank (gray). I'll have to look at my decals.

As long as customers continue to plop down 3 X the $ of a boxy travel trailer, do you really think management cares? Or Thor?
(I'd also consider that the guy putting the labels on might not speak English!)

Thor thanks you. QC not important.

I have to stop and think, my tanks are labeled Main and Auxiliary, and all you see are the pull handles on my unit. At least they have them labeled as they should be but the manual writers have not caught up to the change yet. Dysfunctional management style, maybe one day they will get it right or not.
I think I will relabel my black "shitty".

On my 2016 FC 19 it's all labeled correctly and the handles for the valves are the correct but the pipes are reversed from the OP's AS.

Probably due to the interior layout and location of the tanks.

Maybe just remove the labels and remember to dump solid waste (big pipe) first, and liquid waste (small pipe) second. The wording on the labels is confusing at best. Main tank, aux tank? Waste vs sewage? Just put a "Dump me first" on the black one.

Hijack:
Another place with conflicting confusing labels. Fresh water inlet directly above black tank flush with a label in between. You could assume the label is for the flush, but the inlet casting for the flush has "water inlet only" cast into it?

Yes I have a rear bath. But I can see how someone could get sticker happy and just apply the decal as they did for the last trailer.

Not to hijack, but interestingly our new trailer didn't come with a THOR sticker either. That was the first one I had planned to remove!

Me Too!

As others have said, this is not a new problem. My 2011 AS has the stickers bassackwards too. I remedied it with a magic marker. I thought mine was the only one. I wonder if this is just a Monday morning hangover problem, or if the "sticker man" has been wandering around Jackson Center for years!

Both of my handles were black.

Well all this sewer talk got me thinking about whether my new AS was also messed up. We got ours about 4 months ago new from the factory.

Happy to report that the sticker guy must have either been sober or trained by now. Stickers in correct location and color coded handles correct:

Mine came WITHOUT labels or color coded handles; deal with it. I bought a clear elbow and figured it out. You bought an A$$ and they are fix it yourself units. There are leaks, tank indicators, tires, doors, drawers and the list goes on. One either fixes or takes time to go to the dealer or JC.
