Septic tank install

Bought this 73 land yacht and the septic tank was already out for repair. Not sure about how it goes back in. Does it take straps or frame rails. Need some answers please. Thanks again Seth. And which ever it takes where can I get these.

Welcome to Air Forums. Do you have the rest of the parts - the tray the tank sits in and the styrofoam that lines the tray to insulate the tank?

One of the best investments you can make is a Factory Service Manual for your unit. You can find them on Ebay or from Airstream.

Try Airforums classifieds. Do you have the manual? I got one with my Safari purchase and it has been a real help.

No unfortunately I don't have a manual. I will be buying one as soon as I can. Long story short, am 26 but always have had a thing for vintage anything cars , bikes, excedra. Well I have found my new love with this thing, and it will be a great family project for us. But my knowledge of these is very slim. So every advice I can get would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 76 and the water tank is held up with a pan that is bolted to the chassis and in the middle is a plate that holds it up. I believe the manual is still available somewhere. The AS manual has nice parts blowup diagrams that can help put the puzzle back together.

I really needed that pic. That was a big help but unfortunately I am missing that main pan it looks like but I'll go back on the hunt for one.
