No Fuss Flush and Fresh Water Hose?

Hi all

Been camping with our Safari over the winter/spring and have realized some issues that I wanted to run by ya'll...

2) We have a No Fuss Sewer Flush on our A/S. I've been using it with our fresh water hose at the end of a trip as we prepare to leave. Is that safe? Any chance of some backsplash on grey/black water into the freshwater hose? No one has gotten sick but just wondering as I saw Campingworld advertise a grey hose for just this purpose. I'm getting another hose anway; don't want to risk it.

Regards,
Abe

The only risk is backwash. I am so careful since my wife had a bout of cryptospiridosis to keep all sewer hoses fittings as far away from the fresh water hoses and fittings as possible. I even to my hook up and disconnect in certain steps to avoid any possibility. I would NOT use my fresh water hose to do the tank flush if I were you.

The No Fuss system has a check valve that is to prevent this possible problem, but it safer to use a green or gray colored hose.
