New Holding Tanks

Im planning on having new black and grey water tanks made up and was wondering if putting the drains on the bottom f the tanks is a bad/good idea? Any thoughts?

Drains on the bottom are preferred, as they allow you to drain out all the way, but you'll have to have the connections lower than the tanks. a lot of the newer ones are that way. If you pull out of the side, you can't drain all the way, but I will say that it's really tough to snake everything through. I did it on my 64, but not sure how deep the frame is on the 68.

You run into issues with how far down the drains will have to project. The frame's only about 5" deep, so any below that and you'll be projecting into dangerous territory.
