Need help removing stool floor flange..Please

Hello All:
I hope somone knows the answer to my question. I am installing a new Thetford stool in our 1998 34ft Excella 1000. TheThetford that I removed had a different radial pattern for the hold down tee bolts.
My problem is I haven't been able to break the seal on the floor flange so
that I can rotate it so the tee slots are in the right location for the new
stool. If I use force until it releases could it possibly damage the holding tank?
If it breaks is the floor flange the same as the flange used in residential applications?`
Thanks ,
Tom Dunlap

It is the same floor flange. I always make my own removal tool...disposable. I take a hardwood 1 x 2 an drill a 1/4 in hole toward one end. I insert a 1/4 in bolt thru it. Long enough to extend about 1 to 2 inches. I make another such rig which will line up with the other side of the flange holes when the first one is inserted to one hole. It will now work as a wrench.
"If it can't be reduced, reused, repaired, rebuilt, refurbished, refinished, resold, recycled or composted
then it should be restricted, redesigned or removed from production."
