moving waste tank 67 overlander international

I am completely remodeling my 1967 overlander international and really want to move my bathroom to the middle and put a double bed in the back. (We usually camp with my husbands huge family and I like my privacy.) Does anyone know if the waste tank would fit near the axl?

That black water tank will not fit in any other place then where it sits with the stock frame. Airstream made that area extra wide to accommodate the tank. This does not mean that you cannot do the conversion. You will just have to work a new tank system and while you're moving things around you can add a gray water tank too.

When you say I will have to work a new tank system do you mean that I should get new size tanks that will fit in between the frame? If I do that I could split it up by adding a gray water tank AND black one? which in turn will accommodate two smaller tanks...
