Looking for Black Tank for 57 Safari
I wanted to put in a black water tank in the front corner above the subfloor with the toilet on top. I don't really want to spent $400+ on a custom tank, anyone got one lying around I can repair or one in good condition they want to sell or trade? I'm in San Diego.
I'm almost don't breaking down, soon i get to start building up, THANK GOD!
Lots of love,
tim

Try inca plastics. They have a website. Mine was not to bad. I designed it and sent them the measurments. They were really easy to work with, and they sent me a tank in no time.

Do a search for tank manufactures. I bought a 24 gal stock tank to add to my daughters trailer for under $100.00 shipped in. Sorry it has been 3 years so i do not have a name but it was easy to find with a search.

Thanks guys. I actually am ordering a standard tank from INCA for my grey water tank. The prob with the black water is that it has to snug up in the corner of the bathroom. INCA has a quarter circle tank, but its super tall, like 16 inches... making a step stool necessary to use the toilet on top of it, though it would be quite a nice thrown

I have an extra, new, Inca tank. Let me know if the freebe does not work out. Mine won't be free...but it is cheap.

Hi Tim:
I don't know whether you have reviewed Shari's entire thread about the restoration of Birdie, her 1955 Safari. But you cannot make any better use of your time right now than to read it from beginning to end:
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f91/...irl-31084.html
Rob ordered a custom black tank to fit the above floor at the front left corner. See posts 344-369 for installation. Read other posts for ordering information. I doubt you will find any standard tank than will fit your exact needs, but Good Luck anyway with that search.

Yeah i've read and re-read those posts. Talked to Shari and talked to all-rite about the same custom tank. I was hoping getting the same tank from the allrite might be cheaper because they had already done one. No such luck, they were asking $450+, im a poor grad student and that just doesn't cut it I talked to inca they do have a 27x27x6 that has a radius on it for about $150, but i would have to make sure that it would fit the street side - front corner of the trailer. We'll see.
I actually ordered my grey water from INCA. They're very reasonable in price with the non-custom tanks and Bill is super nice.
