That pic reminds me of the time my dog ate a baggie.

I'd just bet someone pranked your Airstream... the factory... a disgruntled employee at the dealer... Or your own kids who WILL DO the strangest things simply because their thought processes are so different.

My thought immediately went to a roll of Saran wrap the minute I saw the first post. Got a cheap old cell phone with a camera, a flashlight and a yardstick. Tape them to the yardstick, empty the tank and explore for yourself to assure that the tank is empty and clear. The cardboard should have passed on it's own. Of course if you go to a campground that has a "honey wagon" to pump the tanks - that would get the plastic in a hurry. Warn them in advance though!

If you are not the first owner do not be too quick to blame the factory. People do weird things to rvs and cars just before they sell them. Also, all kinds of stuff gets flushed or sent down a drain. Hope you get it cleared out, whoever did this, it was a dirty trick. Jim

Well, we haven't had a problem with the graywater tank, but the blackwater one was special. Slow to drain, easily clogged, the works, for 9 years.

Last September, the valve refused to close. Not good with a blackwater tank. A flashlight revealed a large disk of polyethylene blocking the valve. And the only way to get it out was to grab it by hand. Ugh.

Where did the disk come from? I assume it was the cutout when the drain was installed into the tank.

Now the clincher. Friends who had owned two trailers from other manufacturers had exactly the same thing with both of those trailers .

I recently installed a black tank in my AS. I can totally see a lazy installer just cutting the hole and just letting the cut off drop in, and forgetting about it. Over and over again....

My grey tank empties in a big whoosh, goes on for maybe 30 seconds. By then its functionally empty, though it can dribble and drip forever.

Grey tank and black empty at pretty much the same rate on our vintage. Must be something to newer models. There is always a drip if level at dump time when camping at water and electric hookup only. Hope you get this problem solved!
