No, that's not how it was designed.
Back then, gray water could be dumped on the ground, and no one cared. Not true today.
Airstream started with gray water tank in the 1974 models.
Never, EVER, mix the gray and black. To do so, in your Airstream, you will load the gray water drain lines with bacteria from the black contents.
You can purchase blue tanks, some of which have wheels and a handle, to contain the gray water. Then usually you can find a place to dump it.
