How to drain Safari sewer line

Help! We recently bought a 1998 Safari 25ft. I see one rod to right of drain pipe and a smaller rod to the left. Does one operate the gray and the other operate he black? They don't appear to pull in or out. How do they work?

Hi, if anything like mine, these rods should have a "T" handle on them. The one on the right should be for the black tank and one on the left should be for the gray tank. [Note: pull to open and push to close]

Once you know for sure which is which, label them! Black electrical tape around the black tank handle, gray duct tape around the gray tank handle. Especially since the black electrical tape has a different texture than the gray duct tape, so you can tell by sight AND by feel for when you have an early-morning departure and barely enough daylight to distinguish colors.

I'm not sure we're talking about the drain handles here. I've got these rods too, but they aren't the drain dumps.

Vicki, do the rods go across the entire trailer, from side to side and don't move? Can you post a picture?
