How do I access the waste valve on 1972 Argosy

Looks like I might need to drill out a bunch of rivets on the underside to remove the metal panel that surrounds the waste valve outlet, but if that's not the right way I don't want to take a chance on ruining anything.

Hi Indyjim,

I have a '76 Argosy where my dump valves are on the side, instead of the rear. So, I could help if I knew a bit more about your installation.

Got any pictures?

Yeah, that's what you will have to do? But why? There are some problems that don't need a replacement.

Also, if I remember right the exact replacement is not available so you will have to do a few mods. When I had this problem Inland RV was able to steer me right.

A new dump valve is not available in Thetford so you will have to switch to Valtera.

waste valve replacement

I got the old one out - seal was trashed. Now I'll just need to find a new one, maybe Monday where I bought the Argosy. Thanks for all the help.
