Holding tanks

I plan to install holding tanks (fresh, grey, and black) in my '57 Bubble since it has none except an old, small 7(?) gal fresh water tank. If anyone has some experience with this kind of modification, please contact me.
Also, are there some general principles that I should know about before proceeding with this? I realize there will be additional weight to consider since the trailer currently has NO BRAKES; overall balance of weight; stuff like that???
Thanks folks. Jo Ann

Installing a Replacement Fresh Water Tank

Hi JoAnn,
I took out the old 18 gallon aluminum cylinderical fresh water tank out of my '59 Trade Wind and put in a 43 gallon poly tank from All-Rite Plastics (www.all-rite.com). It was exactly the size that was posted on their web page, not an 1/8" over. Fit beautifully with minor modifications to the booth. Made a big difference when boondocking.

holding tank source

FlyFshr: Nice site - I've added it to my favorites so when I'm ready for a tank I can contact them - they seem to have an enormous selection. Thanks. JW
