grey water draining help needed

i have a 68 international i am redoing. I am finished all except the bathroom which i tore out to put a new floor in. i took a pic of how all the plumbing went so i could remind my self of how and where everything went. Great idea, bad execution. My pic is to dark to see where the grey water drains. I dont have a grey water tank, and it used to just come out the belly pan onto the ground. Since i dont think this is ok at most sites, im going to buy a blue tank and draing to there. My question is, is the connection on the blue tank just a garden hose connection? If that is so, i could just reduce from 1 1/2" pvc to a garden hose connection and put a valve on there to stop the water flow.(although not much need for that i guess cause it needs to drain so it doesnt back up. Sorry thinking out loud)Is this what RV's have that dont have a grey on board tank?

On my 68 the grey water line runs into the black water outlet just in front of the black tank. It is a Y-type fitting. The fitting is kind of a custom part. My old one was cracked in several places and I ordered the new one from Inland. Andy has a guy who makes them. not cheap but I wanted to keep everything original and not have to redo all the waste lines. With the new fitting in place, I can hook my sewer hose or the hose to my "blue boy" to the outlet with is inside the bumper trunk. There is no valve for the grey side, if you run water in the trailer it runs out. Sometimes if I am only staying one night at a place with no sewer hookup I'll just use a small bucket to catch the grey water and then pour it into the black tank for dumping. There is a "trap" door" on the bottom of the bumper trunk that allows access for the hose. PM me if you need pics and I can make a few and email them to you.

i see it now on the fitting, but will a 3/4 hose fitting work instead or justhook it back up original?
