Gray tank sensor way off

The tank sensors in our gray and black water tanks are way off in our 2016 20 footer. The gray reads at 44% after just a 3 or four gallons, and the black registers nothing (zero) until used 15-20 times.

You can reset the system. I did mine, it's more consistent now, but i was too afraid to fill the black/grey 100%, so now they all register full when probably only half full. I'll have to do it again.

I dont remember the sequence on the micro pulse monitor and the exact steps, it's in the manual. Essentially you set the monitor into a configure mode with all the tanks empty. you set the empty level, fill a tank, set the full level, empty it. repeat for other tanks.
