Gray Tank

Does a '71 overlander international have a gray tank? If not, what are my options?

Gray tanks in Airstream tailers started in 1974.

They can be added, but caution must be used as to placement and mounting.

Many dealers install gray tanks on older Airtsreams.

Hey Miles,

You can get portable blue totes to use as grey tanks. They're available at any RV Store and at Camping World and come in various sizes. I suggest the units with four wheels and side discharge so you won't need to lift a full tank to dump. My unit does not have a grey tank either and I thought this would be a real hassle, but it's not that bad.

I will chime in loudly for the 4 wheels and side discharge. I thought I was getting enough tank with 2 wheels. Really think 4 is a better way to go.

I know that some states have made it illegal to run grey water discharge on the ground. Is the "some" part of this statement true? Is it "all" states? If not, how do we find out which states?
