Flying Airstream!

Today I stopped by AS of Spokane ot have my Black tank replsced. the repair from this past winter failed. No surprise the tank was once again hanging from the toilet flange. Doug fixed that. They ordered a new tank a few weeks ago. It arrived and I waited for my interview in Helena. Sarah had different ideas about us leaving mid day Sunday. She hid until mid afternoon. I made it to tri-cities for the evening. I got up early and made it to Spokane by 9 AM. We had my trailer in the shop by 09:30. I went inside my trailer to pick up a few things before they started. I never made it out. I fell asleep on my bed. I woke up around noon 4.5 feet off the floor and my black tank removed. I had sleep through the jacking and removal. I must have have been tired!
The day is ended and my new black tank is in. Tomorrow I stop in Missoula on my way to Helena for my interview Thursday.
Good work from Doug and Nick! They are the best!

Nice pic;
Are those Rotary Lifts from Indiana being used? Did you happen to notice the load rating of those babies? I used to sell those things. They are a solid unit.!
Glad to hear you got your pooper paired.

Michelle, watch that first step coming out the door, it's a big one.
I don't remember if I asked you this (they say the memory is the second thing to go), do you think this could be a delayed result of your bobsledding attempt a year or two ago?

It is a slight possibility. The seperation occured on the (airframe) left side of the tank. right against the edge. the tank was well packed in there with foam. It is more likely the over tightening of the toilet flange at the factory. the tank was hanging from it. Doug did not over tighten it. It should last me quite a while.

Good luck with your interview. Hope things go well with both the interview and the black tank repair.

A little update. I was not in a hurry to leave this morning. Before I was ready to leave Nick was out at my trailer knocking on the door. "What model Fridge do you have?" I have no clue. He looked. "You need the recall." What recall? "The expanded one." THey had it done in about 15 minutes. So if you own a current model fridge keep an eye out for the recall or go look on the Dometic website.
